Summary: Room smelled of air freshener and the floor seems to have been sprinkled with dry powder I got all over my black socks. Mock’s bar was very quaint but pricey Breakfast was tasty

Summary: Clean and comfortable room! All of the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent! The shuttle service was super convenient. Bob was an excellent driver!! Really enjoyed the drinks and cozy atmosphere at the bar! I believe Michael was the bartender. He makes a great manhattan. Will definitely return the next time we are in Pittsburgh!

Summary: It’s nice to see this historic building find new life as a hotel. While it definitely lacks state-of-the-art features that most modern hotels are able to offer, it manages to make up for it with a certain quirky charm. Proximity to the City Center is just a 5 minute cab ride, but the hotel itself is not in a particularly interesting or upscale part of town. Our biggest disappointment with our stay was the general tone of indifference exhibited by the staff. I wouldn’t say they were unfriendly, just that there seemed to be no interest in ensuring guests were made to feel welcome. I have no idea whether it’s just a Pittsburgh thing, kind of like how Bostonians have a reputation for being A’ holes. Either way, poor customer service is a complete deal breaker for us. So unfortunately, we will most likely not be staying here again.

Summary: The rooms were very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the staff were welcoming. We had a good breakfast. The location was perfect and close to downtown. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: Everything about this hotel was amazing. I travel often, 2-3 times monthly. This was thee cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, the staff was amazing from the front desk to housekeeping. I wish I could have stayed a few more nights. Parking, the area, everything was great! Highly recommend! Judy
